Philosophy and education: the meeting of prospects

The research attention was given to substantiation of philosophy principles of educa tion and its modern strategies, prospects of philosophic education in the classic university. Fun damental inexhaustibility of philosophy potential in substantiation of fundamental knowledge of university education has been analyzed, main philosophic principles and strategies of university education have been revealed, and the basic achievements in methodical providing of the philosophy study at the contemporary home universities have been outlined.
