Foreword
Abstract
Karl-Otto Apel's philosophy is full of faith in the human mind, aimed at achieving understanding between people, peoples and cultures in solving the global problems of our time on the basis of the planetary ethics of shared responsibility.
The editors express special gratitude to Dietrich Böhler, a student and associate of Apel, a representative of Berlin transcendental pragmatics and discursive ethics of responsibility, a German citizen, in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, who defends the freedom of Europe.
