The method of oral history in sociology
SOCIAL PHILOSOPHY
Abstract
The material contains notes on the use of oral history in sociology by the example of several specific cases. Domestic sociologists use oral history as a research strategy and method of gathering information in research on a variety of topics. Thanks to such research projects, the oral history approach as a whole and the in-depth interview method in particular have been embodied in sociologically well-established technology.
