Institution in a wide meaning (lecture)
Сathedra
Abstract
The lecture is devoted to the topic of determining the specifics of social, formulated by the French school of sociology (E. Durkheim, M. Mauss, P. Fauconnet and others). The author focuses on the ontological problem of the way of existence of social institutions, which is to precede the mode of action of the action itself. On the example of the institution of language, he analyzes the methodo- logical flaws of the solution of semiological structuralism, which turns language into an independent actor, and turns the institution into a prohibition and, based on reflections of L. Wittgenstein, offers his own solution to this problem.
