Grand meeting of the Academic Council of the H.S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy, NAS of Ukraine
Abstract
On November 23, 2021, was a solemn meeting of the Academic Council of the H.S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy, NAS of Ukraine, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Institute. Distinguished guests from various institutions of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and Universities of Kyiv were invited to the meeting, with which the Institute has a long and fruitful tradition of cooperation. We present to our readers a summary of the speeches of the participants of this solemn event. The words of our colleagues reflected the deep knowledge of the history and achievements of the Institute and the great respect for them by the scientific community of Ukraine.
The Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine Anatoliy Mykolayovych Yermolenko addressed the audience with a welcoming speech and congratulated colleagues and distinguished guests on the anniversary and outlined the main stages of development of this center of philosophical thought in Ukraine in a complex social, cultural and political context.
